Silky Forester Telescopic Pole Saw

The Silky Forester Telescopic Pole Saw is a lightweight, telescopic, oval-shaped pole saw. The colour makes it easy to see if left outside and the light weight means anybody can use it.  It is even light enough to climb with.  The blade length is 38cms and the teeth are impulse hardened on the cutting tips.  The impulse hardening keeps the blade sharper for longer. The average home gardener will probably never replace this blade in their lifetime.

Description

The Forester Pole Saw has been designed to offer a product that sits neatly between the better known Zubat and Hayauchi Pole Saw ranges. Like the Zubat Pole Saw, it is a lightweight, state of the art, telescopic pole saw with an oval shaped aluminium alloy pole which offers both strength and precise control. However, it offers a longer and stronger blade than the Zubat Pole Saw and with two extension poles, it can prune at greater heights. Overall it is lighter than the Hayauchi Pole Saw but offers a similar blade length.

This is another very versatile product which can be used in a wide range of circumstances including trimming, pruning, gardening, forestry and arboriculture.

The telescopic design has two locking systems – a spring loaded locking button and friction clamps which work in tandem to ensure a strong and stable pole extension.

These lightweight pole saws can be used from the ground or climbed with to gain greater pruning range without the use of heavier, more cumbersome equipment. The bright red design makes them clearly visible.

A red rigid-plastic blade guard is included, which locks onto the blade for extra protection. The base poles have pole-end shock absorbers and a comfortable rubberised over-grip which ensures good hold and control.

Forester Pole Saw blades cannot be re-sharpened due to the use of electro-impulse hardening in the manufacturing process. Replacement blades are available as are all other parts.

The Forester blades are impulse-hardened curved blades with MIRAI-ME style teeth (Smooth Cutting technology) – The Teeth of the Future! The precision-ground, razor-sharp teeth provide a fast, clean and extremely smooth cutting action. The branch will appear as though you have given it a light sand after you finished cutting. The taper-ground profile reduces friction and allows the teeth to create a larger hole than the blade, so in effect the only thing that needs to touch the branch is the teeth, making your cutting strokes easier and faster. The curve of the blade is ideal for pruning branches in a high or low position. A black rigid-plastic blade cover is included, which locks onto the blade for added protection.

FORESTER pole saws are oval-shaped, providing precise control over the direction of the blade (especially important for high cutting) and reducing pressure on the pole which causes bends and breakages. They have two locking systems to assure structural rigidity of the extended poles. They not only have pins/buttons that lock each pole together but also have friction clamps which squeeze the poles together. This dual locking system allows 100% of the effort at the handle to be effectively transferred to the blade which is metres away. They also protect the other locking system from getting damaged. Spring-loaded locking buttons allow multiple length adjustments and safety friction clamps hold the extensions firmly in place. The base pole has a pole-end shock absorber and award winning GOM rubber handle. All parts are replaceable and available.
